The Power Partner program, through NYSEG (New York State Electric & Gas), offers a reduced basic service charge, places unpaid balances on hold, and matches dollar-for-dollar any customer payment made towards their account balance on hold. Additional late payment charges are not added to the unpaid balance.

In addition, Power Partner offers financial and energy services as well as Family Development through collaboration with community partners, such as OFC, Inc.

Financial services include a calendar, monthly newsletter, workshops, and debt counseling.

Energy services include weatherization, refrigerator replacement, water heater replacement, and health and safety measures.

Family Development includes working one on one with a credentialled Family Development Counselor.
